Paradiso di Cacuci: Quiet majesty nestled atop the hills

Nestled among the gentle hills northwest of Montalcino, Paradiso di Cacci is a prestigious family-run winery. Their Brunello, which naturally combines power and elegance, gently reflects the character of the land, the breath of the seasons, and the warmth of human hands.

The winery was founded in 1964 when the founder reclaimed abandoned hillside vineyards. The special plots, located at an altitude of 250-300 meters, offer a high level of balance between fresh acidity and fruit ripeness, faithfully reflecting the grapes' natural character in the wine. The soil is composed of clay and limestone, with a complex layered structure that mixes with ancient marine sediments. This gives Sangiovese its minerality and depth.

At Paradiso di Cacci, we respect tradition and use only the bare minimum of techniques: all vineyard work is done by hand, and the wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels, allowing it to mature slowly and naturally. This modest and honest approach results in a classic yet refined Brunello.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG offers aromas of red cherry, sweet tobacco, rosemary, and subtle spices, with a long, lingering finish and a long, lingering acidity and minerality. Its ageing potential is also excellent, allowing you to appreciate the depth of the vineyards and time with every sip.

The Riserva, produced only in exceptional years, offers rich black fruit, cedar and balsamic notes, with fine tannins and a long, lingering finish. The Rosso di Montalcino DOC is light and approachable, with red fruit aromas and a supple mouthfeel.

The reason we import this winery is because they value honesty, respect the vineyards, and understand the land, quietly but with a definite presence, demonstrating "authentic Brunello." Once you've encountered this winery, you'll want to pick it up again and again.

Philosophy

Paradiso di Cacuci's philosophy is to convey the individuality of the land as it is. They do not make any unnecessary interventions in the fields, and they respect the natural power of the grapes. They do not rush the brewing or aging process, and they respect the time it takes for the wine to take shape on its own.
The result is a Brunello that is quiet, profound and respectful of the land.
