The first vineyards in La Lomerina were planted in 1816. At the end of the 19th century, the property was purchased by the Raggio family, who have been cultivating the land ever since. Since 2006, Emanuela Croce Raggio has been running the winery, which operates under the philosophy of low-impact viticulture and has been certified organic since 2019.

"Old Ane" Gavi is made from 100% Cortese grapes. After fermentation, it is aged for nine months in stainless steel tanks and then for a further three years in bottle before being released. The aroma offers subtle yet complex nuances of quince, almond, and stewed peach. The palate is smooth and milky, leading to a long, mineral-rich finish.
