This highly acclaimed Barbaresco wine comes from a single vineyard, "Sori San Lorenzo," in Italy's Piedmont region. Crafted from 95% Nebbiolo and 5% Barbera grapes, the 1999 vintage was known for ideal Piedmontese weather conditions, resulting in a wine of intellectual depth and exceptional balance.

Vineyard information: This is one of the finest vineyards owned by Sori San Lorenzo Gaja, located in the Secondine Cru, south of the village of Barbaresco.
