"The 1998 vintage is as rich as the 1997, but with even greater clarity and subtlety. It blossoms beautifully from mid-palate to finish, highlighting its rich fruit and exquisite balance. A truly remarkable Masseto."

Antonio Galloni: 98 points

"The 1998 Masseto is truly a masterpiece. Even after 20 years, it remains incredibly youthful, captivating the drinker with its exotic beauty and sheer opulence. The fruit of an exceptionally hot and dry year, this wine is powerful and dense, and its depth unfolds beautifully in the glass over time. A truly magnificent wine."
