Ruby red in color. Complex and attractive aroma with layers of blackberry fruit and delicate spice aroma. Taste is well-structured, with excellent balance of tannins and acidity, harmonious and long-lasting finish.

Soil: Rocky soil mixed with crushed stone and sand
Climate: Typical Mediterranean climate with warm, relatively mild winters, hot and dry summers, and moderate rainfall in spring and autumn.

Vintage notes (characteristics of the harvest year)

Vintage Notes:
A warm year with a heatwave in August has resulted in wines that are rich in fruit and powerful. The best lots are ripe and dense, yet have lively acidity and a balanced structure, resulting in a refined finish.

Harvesting, brewing and aging

Harvest: Hand-picked in the second week of October
Vinification: Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Delestage and maceration for 15 days.
Aging: 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 2 months in bottle
