This wine pays tribute to Alfiero, the family's grandfather, a lover of the land and a mentor in life.

Grape Variety: 80% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol

Certifications: Organic, Biodynamic (Demeter certified since 2020), Vegan Friendly

Winemaking method: Hand-picked grapes, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, malolactic fermentation, aging in tonneaux barrels for 6 months, followed by at least 1 year in bottle.

Ageing potential: 8 to 10 years

Tasting notes: Ruby red with garnet sparkles. A rich aroma with clear nuances of red fruits. The oak flavor is well-balanced, resulting in a powerful and structured taste. A distinctive finish with spicy aromatic herbal nuances.

Food pairings: Red meats, premium poultry, roast dishes, pasta with meat ragù.
